Backstory: When the legendary King Solomon built his magnificent temple in Jerusalem, he chose pomegranates as a central decorative element. He had 200 brass pomegranates adorned the top of each massive bronze pillar at the temple entrance—400 pomegranates in total decorating this sacred space.

In ancient times, this remarkable fruit symbolized wealth, prosperity, abundance, and divine blessing.

King Solomon was the first king to wear a crown designed after the pomegranate. 

When you break open a pomegranate, around 613 ruby-red seeds burst forth, matching the 613 commandments in the Torah.
